Very belated condolences to Fred’s family. I grew up in Lorne Park with Fred, playing hockey on teams from Tadpole to Midget. Fred was always in the thick of it, a team leader and high scorer who was invaluable when we won the Minor Bantam title. It is no wonder he was such a success in stock car racing. Sympathies to the family in the loss of this 100 percenter.

    To Pam and family
I was so sad to hear about Fred’s passing. He will be deeply missed by so many people. Fred was an amazing man always giving. I was amazed to see him at the Christmas basket drive when he could barely walk. He was a selfless man and I know that his community will miss him sorely. He touched the lives of so many people and now he is surely looking down on us from heaven. May you rest in peace my friend, and Pam and family, may you find comfort and strength during this most difficult time. Thinking of you
    Lauren

To Pam, Anne, Cathy, Teresa and Philip, Lynn and I send our sincerest sympathy. Fred was a wonderful friend to all the Jones’s. I’ll treasure my fondest memories of Fred and my dad, in the garage working on his stock cars over the years, and allowing me to hang around! God bless!

    contributed so very much with

raising funds for The Heart and Stroke Foundation. He was
a Fixture on the field, always
    a great smile, a handshake

his mark on Polo for Heart
    always.

Pam and Family, Please accept Monika’s and my deepest condolences for your terrible loss. Gone are the sounds, both vocal and mechanical, coming from the garage across the road, gone are the images of seeing him mowing the grass on the “back forty”, gone are the annual bonfires and fireworks displays on the “island” at Christmas time surrounded by all his family members. All these images and sounds are locked in our memories along with our thoughts on how blessed we were to have such a wonderful and accomodating man as our neighbour for over thirty years.
