Suddenly on Friday, November 23rd, 2007. George Gourlay, of Schomberg, in his 69th year, beloved husband of Loraine (Way). Loving father of Darryl and his wife Henrika, Debbie and her late husband Norberto Lista, and Paul and his wife Susanne. Sadly missed by his 3 grandchildren Michael, Julian, and Bradley. Dear brother of Yvonne (Sunny) Moodie, Mona Fuller, Georgina Mulvale, Louise Petterson and the late William Martin. Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Tuesday, November 27th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel, 11:00 am Wednesday, November 28th, 2007 followed by interment in Schomberg Union Cemetery. Donations in George’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.

This is such a huge loss and we are all so sad about my uncle Butchie’s sudden death. May God support and give us all the strength that we may need at this time.
My deepest support and love to Loraine, Daryl, Debbie, Paul and Debbie’s 3 boys. Butchie was not just grandfather but also “father” to those boys since their father’s death a few yrs back. My heart goes out to the 3 boys in particular who have now essentially lost 2 “fathers”. You all in my thoughts.
