Doucette (Defina): Giovanna “Joanne”- Peacefully at home on October 20, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family. Joanne passed away after a long cancer diagnosis. Beloved wife of David Doucette. Loving mother of Kyle (Kaleene). Dear daughter of Antonia, the late Basilio Defina, Daughter-in-law to Onile and Frances. Missed Aunt of Michael (Doug), Anthony (Lauren), Carmela, Domenico, Mitchell, Sebastien, Gabriel and Marie. Loving sister to the late Anna and sister-in-law to Frank, Mike, Mona, Marc and Candice. Joanne will be missed by many cousins, friends and extended family. A Celebration of Life will take place Monday, October 30, 2023, from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at Rod Abrams Funeral Home Cliffside Hall, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
