Helga Anne Amelie Pohle (nee Parzonka) September 25, 1928-January 9, 2015
Peacefully passed away with her daughters by her side on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 12:27 a.m. at South Lake Regional Hospital in Newmarket.
Beloved wife of the late Gunter Pohle (April 8, 2012), dear mother of Karin Valek (John), Kristina Smith (Colin), grandmother to Laura (Lucas), Meaghan (Josh), sister to Stephanie Rogahn (Joachim), aunt to Detlev (Jackie) and Peter (Karoline).
Words alone cannot express how much she will be missed. She will be fondly remembered for her contagious laugh and her zest for life.
We are deeply grateful for the compassion and care shown her in her final hours by the nurses in the Emergency Department at South Lake Hospital.
Our family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Park Place Manor in Aurora for their compassion and devotion in helping her to feel at home.
A celebration of life will be held for her in early May where she will join her husband and where she may finally rest in peace and tranquility.
