    Jennifer and family,

I was so sorry to hear about your dad’s passing. I know how close you were to him and how much he meant to you and your family. From everything you’ve shared, it’s clear he was a kind and generous man who brought so much joy to those around him.

I can only imagine how special it must have been to share your love of horses with him and to see him enjoy that time with your kids. Those memories will always be a beautiful part of his legacy.

Please know that I’m thinking of you and your family and sending you all my love and deepest sympathy during this difficult time. I’m here for you—whatever you need.
    Your friend,
    Pamela Lee xoxo

Ian will be missed so much. I remember him fondly from my childhood up to our last visit together in March, and his love for family, family history, horses, good food, Port Morien, and knowing “how we are doing” never changed. He was easy to love and admire. Rest in peace, Ian, knowing what a champion you were on earth. xo Lorna

Barb, and family we are so very sorry for your loss. Ian was a strong counsel in business and life and never missed a chance to show his skills and pride in family, hoses and business. He had the twinkle in his eyes smile and soft pensive voice that brought calm to any challenges. Those of us that had the pleasure to work with him benefited greatly from his abilities and nature. Our prayers are with you. Bonnie and Ken Pratt

One of the fonder memories I have of spending time with Ian was one summer many years ago when I went over to the Macintosh farm once or twice a week to help Ian exercise his Standardbreds on his track. It was completely new to me. Something I had never done before. It was great fun. I went to the races with him about 3 times and he won every time! Fond memories I have of Barb and Ian were the many years we played in a bridge club. My wife Pam and I, Barb and Ian, and 12 others played for years. It was really fun too. Ian will be missed.
