Jackie, Patty, and Family; I’m so glad that “Jack” was a man that was so helpful in my life… He was such a good man and was a great mentor in the community of those who had to know him as a Friend and a Neighbour!!
He would be frequently riding past my House even in his later years in life with Jackie nearby on his Harley riding their Bikes as if they were the Teenagers they never grew up from!!
I will miss talking with “Jack” and having him as a Friend and Neighbour.
May you R.I.P. Mr. Jack Elmer

    Dear Jackie, Patty and family

Sorry for your loss. Uncle Jack was mom’s favourite brother. Ironic for him to have passed on her birthday, he was good to her and all of us.
She just read his obit from the paper to me and says she misses seeing you.
    Fond memories…

Was a great service today at Mount Tegart, just the way that Jack would have wanted it, a lot of characters that I have not seen in some time, people that have been in Jack’s life literally forever, at one point I called them all a bunch of Rednecks, everybody agreed that Jack would totally agree…. gonna be missed ! ❤️

“A father is neither an anchor to hold us back, nor a sail to take us there, but a guiding light whose love shows us the way.”

To Jack’s son, wishing you and your family continued strength, peace and happiness in the years ahead, and may you continue to honour your father’s legacy in everything you do.

Your father was a true character, he always had a twinkle in his eyes and a smile at the ready to be shared with friends. May looking back on your treasured memories with him help to comfort you in the days and months ahead as you heal and begin anew.

Always remember, we never really lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make, just as they did when they were living. Their love and guidance leaves a lingering imprint in our memories forevermore….

May your father rest in blissful peace as he continues to watch over you all.

    Most Sincerely,
    Tony, Jacqueline and family

Dear Jack and Patricia and family, we Thomson girls are so saddened to hear of Jack Sr’s passing! He was a class act in every way! To hear that Jack was young Jack’s best friend is not at all surprising as we girls have witnessed the incredible love between these lovely men! We know that Jack will be missed terribly by many in our little Tottenham community but we hope there’s comfort in knowing that Jack left his mark and will be remembered very fondly! We feel privileged that we were able to share some memories and have Jack at the Thomson sale a couple of years ago! He bought some of our father Bob Thomson’s tires and he paid a fair price with a smile. A class act and a lovely man! So sorry for your loss! Take care.

Patty and Jack, it feels like we’ve lost another icon of the community. Everyone always loved running into “Old Jack” in the grocery store or around town. He and I discussed our dinner plans in the aisles of Foodland many times. He usually asked what time he should be there for dinner. I was already missing seeing him around as he got out less in the last few years. Sorry for your loss, Rick and I are thinking of you both.❤️
