The world is a little less humorous now, without Uncle Jack. Aunt Jackie, Mary, Ann, Jay, Lori, Peter and your families, I am truly sorry for your incredible loss! My thoughts will be with you on Wednesday.
I don’t know if you know this but I can’t take a drive into the mountains without smiling and thinking of Uncle Jack, he was not impressed with them at all, in fact he had a special name for them which I can’t tell you now but you can probably figure it out, it starts with a “w” and ended with “mountains”. There is also the memory I have at Jamie’s wedding in Sechelt, it involved Uncle Jack and a cat, ask Uncle George or Uncle Hugh, but no doubt you get the idea, its Uncle Jack and a cat!! Take care of each other – he may be gone but his memory is forever.

It saddens me to think the “Big Boy” is gone and I’m stuck in B.C. with my own health issues, instead of being there for my family. My love to Jackie and all my nieces and nephews. I will be thinking of you all on Wednesday and in my prayers. Love you all, Aunt Zita

    Dear Jay & family ,
I remember when Jack would help Dad in the fall harvesting the corn , I would love that time of year when we could stay up late , Mom baking extra pies for hard working neighboring farmers that came to help ! I recall Jack would come roaring up our driveway driving this fabulous John Deere tractor pulling two shiny red corn harvesters !! The finest machinery I’d ever seen ! When I
heard the sad news of Jacks passing I found myself standing at Rods remembering a strong supportive community at my Dads funeral a few years ago and reminiscing with Jack and Jackie about my Dad . Jack was a friendly handsome neighbor with a great sense of humor who will be fondly remembered .
