Peacefully at Simcoe Manor Long Term Care on Wednesday June 27, 2012. In the arms of Jesus, Jean Cameron (nee Downey) in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Ross Cameron (1994). Loving mother of Ron and his wife Margarete, and Greg and his wife Cathy. Grandmother of Erinn, Matthew, Andrea, Elisabeth, and Thomas. Great-Grandmother to Dylan, and Isaac.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Saturday June 30th, 2012 for Funeral Service in the Chapel at 10am, followed by interment at Glendale Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Jean may be made to the Woodbridge United Church 8090 Kipling Ave, Woodbridge, L4L 2A1, or a charity of choice.

My Aunt Jean was one of the most genteel women my family ever knew. I never hear her utter a bitter word against anyone. She always wore a smile and treated everyone the same, with respect. An ideal mother to her 2 sons and faithful wife to her late husband, Ross, she set a standard hard to match. She will be sorely missed.
