It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend, peacefully at York Central Hospital, Richmond Hill, on Friday, January 20th, 2012. Jean (Howie), aged 94, beloved wife of the late John Wallace. Loving mother of Jeanette Halamoutis, Irene Thornton (Malcolm), Bill Wallace (Betty), and the late Thomas Wallace (May). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren, William, Kenneth, Alison, Dawn, Dianne, Heather, Drew, John, David and her 20 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Respecting Jean’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at Fraser Presbyterian Church, Queen Street, Tottenham, on Saturday February 4, 2012 from 12:30pm until time of memorial service at 2pm. Betty,Billy & Family, It was a sad day when we heard about the passing of Jean. Jean was a wonderful lady and was blessed to have lived such a long happy healthy life. Jean’s friendly happy face will be missed around Tottenham. Condolences to all the family.
