I really never got a chance to know John, only meeting him once. Kathy spoke of him often, I knew then John was the one for her, he lit up her life & gave her everything she ever needed & wanted. Thank you. My deepest sympathy & prayer’s are with the family & friends in this time of grief. Your memories of him will give you comfort. May God watch over & keep you close. At least they’re together forever. May he rest in peace.

The caring prayers, the shaking shock this awful news, my world did rock.

No one knew how it happened and why

we were all so sad; it made us cry.

How unfair it should have happened now

won’t someone ever tell me how?

    Your time came too soon

your life was over in a flash.

    the fun you shared

    the joy you brought

    all just a memory

    behind us

I don’t know what else to say it is hard to put it in words when a person so young leaves this world.

It is unfair? Of course it is when a person is taken away like this.

My family will always remember your quiet demeanor, your mischievous smile. you always be little john to us.

We shared good moments, we shared sad ones.

Your family was my family and you like a son to us.

    We will miss you dearly.

    With Love

    The Lopes Family.

We will always remember Little John – a sweet, loving kid who picked on his sister but never let anyone else.

    ‘Gone only from our sight

    And from our farewell cries;

    That ship will somewhere reappear

    To other eager eyes.

    Beyond the dim horizon?s rim

    Resound the welcome drums,

And while we?re crying, ?There he goes!?

    They?re shouting, ?Here he comes!?

May God grant you all the strength and courage you’ll need to make it through this diffcult time.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you every step of the way.

    Love Heather, Monica & Natasha

I first met John when I supervised his class for lunch. The kids loved to hide and scare me. John would always smile and have a mischievous glint in his eye. Later, he became close friends with our son, Matthew and John had grown into such a fine young man. He never lost his smile and glint in his eye. One winter morning going down the driveway, my husband and I followed a trail of tracks that suddenly turned off into the farmer’s field. We looked at each other and simultaneously laughed and said,

“Johny”. What we will remember most about John is his wonderful heart. He helped our family so often yet we never asked. He just instinctively knew when help was needed and did what he could.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. John will be sadly missed by so many but will live in hearts forever.

    Sincerely, The Phillips Family

We would like to extend our deepest sympathies for your tragic loss. While we did know John I am positive he was a wonderful person . There is no greater tragedy than the loss of a child. You are both in our thoughts.
