Our deepest condolences for your loss, Dave, Larry, Rob and Sherry. I remember growing up with your Dad generally away on his long haul trips, but when he came home he was a larger than life character, always a smile, a joke, and warm and welcoming to us neighborhood kids. I’m sure he will be well remembered by many and missed dearly by you.

So sorry to hear of the passing of our dear friend, Joe Clifford. We were neighbours for over 20 years in Park Place. During that time we repaired lots of car problems, fixed lots of things and solved even more of the world’s problems sitting on the deck with a beer or rye in hand. We moved away 2 years ago. We never got to visit again because of the Covid restrictions and our own health problems, but we never stopped thinking of Joe. Rest in peace, good buddy!

I want to give my Sympathy to my cousins on the loss of their father, step father, grandfather & great grandfather, to his remaining Clifford siblings & their spouses on the loss of their brother. To my cousins on the loss of our uncle. To all his friends. To Rollie who will be taken very good care of. My Uncle was one of the funniest & silliest people I know. He’d tell us stuff & well we’d usually believe him being the adults we are & then tell our mom & she’d spill the tea. He took good care of Nana. People are suppose to be sad when someone dies. Well we are Uncle Joe but we are more grateful for a lifetime of memories. The world is a better place because you were in it. Should we meet again, I’ll be none the wiser & we’ll have a good laugh because you’re so full of blarney. It’s the Irish ya. RIP

My “Grandpa Joe”. I have many memories with him as a youngster. Him coming to my hockey games, family functions, and going to visit him at his place in Wasaga Beach. Was so fun buzzing around in the golf cart in the retirement community as a kid. I moved away to USA 10 years ago, but I will always cherish the memories I had with him, and most recently the time we got to spend together at his Son’s, and my Uncle Larry’s at his place on Lake Simcoe. He had a great sense of humor as well. I will miss him, and I know the rest of his family will too.
Love,
Patrick
