Peacefully in her sleep, at Sunrise Assisted Living Home Richmond Hill, on Friday October 28, 2011. Lieselotte Bollmann (nee: Apmann) in her 87th year, beloved wife of the late Otto Bollmann of King Township. Loving mother of Cornelia and her husband Kerry Mews, and Irving and his wife Dorothee. Remembered with love as Oma to Julia and Alistair Mews, and Brian and Anita Bollmann. Predeased by her siblings: Gerhard, Edith, and Gerti and their families. Sadly missed by the other grandmothers: Helga Kuhnel and Monty Kathleen Mews. Forever in the hearts of our cousins Angela – her “Schutzengel”, Petra, and Peter Bollmann, her niece Eike Bleeker, and all her extended family and many friends. Lieselotte will be sorely missed at her beloved Kingcrafts where she participated for over 30 years and also by her many German-canadian readers who eagerly awaited her monthly “Kräuterhexe” articles on herbal medicine and the philosophy of life.
Memorial visitation will be held at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham, 905-936-3477 on Thursday November 3, 2011 from 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lieselottes’ memory to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.

Thanks, Mike, for my first experience of Shiatsu maassge this morning. At 40 weeks pregnant it was especially welcome as I now feel very relaxed and calm and in tune with my body and mind which is a perfect state to face the next few weeks.Your explanations of what you were doing were very clear and calming and I felt very safe and relaxed not always easy, particularly when heavily pregnant. Your understanding of the positions which were comfortable and manageable was also very evident. I particularly enjoyed the session with the body cushions set up so I could lie on my front without putting any weight on my stomach and really allow myself to fully relax into the back and shoulder maassge. I wish I had found out earlier and could fit more sessions in between now and my due date but I hope that at some point I’ll be able to enjoy another maassge, when I get some time to myself again.I would strongly recommend this to any expectant mothers.

Although our paths did not cross for long, the time I was got to spend with “Lise” will always be treasured.
Lise: I promise you that all the lessons you taught me will always remain in my heart and soul and you will always be a part of my life. You were and always will be an angel that touched my life along with so many other lives that you touched. You are greatly missed but NEVER forgotten.
All my love to Corneila, Irving and family.

Dear
Cornelia – My heart is so sad to hear of the death of your Mother so soon after that of your Dad. Her heart was broken irreparably at his loss. You and the family are so much in my thoughts and prayers. Kingcrafts has lost a kindred soul.
