My dear old friend…Many Springs, Summers, Falls and Winters have passed since our last time together. From Childhood to Adulthood you were a friend. Hide and Seek at Maplewood, Laurier, do you remember? I do. Even though the years had pulled us in different directions we will forever be connected through Family. Of all the artists I’ve had the pleasure of knowing over the years, and there is many. You understood the Struggle. Whether on canvas or an ordinary piece of 8 1/2 x 11 paper. You had the extraordinary ability to be able to draw people and capture their very essence. A snapshot, of who they are, forever frozen in time. Take comfort my friend, as you rest, that your Talent has passed to the next generation. The true Testament of any Human Being, Man or Woman, is the Legacy that they leave behind. Yours is one that is rich and filled to the brim. A Loving Wife, Loving Children, Loving Grandchildren and Loving Parents…Millions of Cherished Memories, moments to be enjoyed over and over again by those you created them with. Loved ones, Friends, Colleagues or the many Strangers who cross our paths, over the course of our lives…You will be missed, You will never be Forgotten…You left us far too soon…

Louie was great, I always enjoyed his company, he was a free spirit who had a passion for art, music, friendship, and life. I remember him carrying around a bag with his art supplies in it. This other guy would tease him for carrying a purse, but Louie didn’t care, and stood up for himself because he didn’t need to try to impress anyone. I was impressed by that,I realized that we are all unique, and we should just be ourselves. Bye, Louie.
