We are very sad to here that Aunt Marie has passed. This is a person that the world will miss very much. She was always one to inspire others to follow your dreams. I think a little of Aunt Marie will be in all of us and we can remember her the next time we step outside the box.
There is another chair set at the big kitchen table in the sky filled with music, card games, Irish stew and butter tarts.

Sandy and Fiona says
Marie, you were such a kind, fun-loving, unique soul who made her own path and embraced life as it should be. You accepted all of us, Jay’s friends, as part of your family no matter what. We certainly did have some crazy moments in your presence, and you just joined in with a big smile on your face. Fiona and I still talk about “speed euchre”…no time for talking, just play!
Fiona and I will miss you dearly. Your spirit will remain amongst so many of us. Rest now and soar with the angels, for we will all be at peace knowing you are watching over us.
Denise Tierney says
We know her as “Irish Marie”, with her elegant style, her many travels and adventures, her abudance of friendships and her hearty laughter, she made us all feel blessed and honoured to call Marie our dear friend. Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
Marrianne Barraclough and family says
too well loved to ever be forgotten, rest in peace, sleep with the angels.
Carol Smith says
I am so grateful to have been a friend of Marie’s and that she was an active member of our group the Keswick Kardinals. Marie was a person who truly never said never and no matter what crazy activity we were doing she was there whether it be Karaoke, Elvis or dressing up for Halloween. The Kardinals will miss her joyeux de vie and I will miss the laughter.
You will always be in my heart.
Marilyn Lynett-Walsh says
I will keep her in my heart and thoughts. I will always remember Aunt Marie as the person who inspired me to see the world, to be brave as an independent woman and never let perceived boundaries hold me back. She was a great inspiration to me. I hope to be able to pay her memory forward to all young women I know. Her legacy is certainly unique………what a wonderful way to leave this world. I know her children will be proud that her memory will be that of such a vibrant engaging woman.
Fondly remembered by Marilyn, Christopher, Kathryn and Andrew.
