Suddenly at his home on August 9, 2022. Mark Heffernan at the age of 54 years, beloved son of Edward and Margaret Heffernan. Loving brother of Glenn (Maria), Louise Evans (John), Laura McKeown (Marc), David (Stephanie Leslie). Dearly loved uncle of Rachel (Ryan), Victoria (Simon), Stephanie (Logan), Rayanna, Jackson, Julia, Madison, Trent, and Ethan. Forever in the hearts of his large extended family and many friends.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held at St. James Church Colgan (2118 Adjala Tecumseth Townline Tottenham ) on Tuesday August 16, 2022 at 10:30am. Reception will follow in Cliffside Hall at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham.
For those who wish donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

I played baseball with Mark for a few years in Orangeville as a member of the X-Men fastball team and am glad to have called him my friend. I’ve been in touch with some of the guys on the team over the past few days, but unfortunately not all of us could make arrangements to be at the service this morning. I was glad to be able to attend and see just how much Hef meant to his friends and family. I hope that he rests peacefully – he was a genuinely good soul and will be missed.
