Bergin:  Marlene Anne,

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on her 84th birthday, September 13, 2015 at Stevenson Memorial Hospital Alliston.   Beloved wife of Don Bergin for 59 years.   Loving mother of Anne (Donny O’Leary), Janet Jordan, and Brian (Heather Shaw).   She will be sadly missed by the grandchildren she loved so much: Maryanne, Maggie, Brandon, Kyle, Evan, Marin, Graham, and Meagan.   Loving sister of Dan Watson (Joyce), and the late Bill Watson (Shirley), and in the thoughts of all her extended family and friends.

Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Wednesday September 16, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-9pm.  Mass of Christian burial will be held in St. James Church Colgan on Thursday September 17, 2015 at 12 noon.   Interment to follow in St. James Cemetery Colgan.
For those who wish donations to the Canadian Angelman Syndrome Society would be appreciated by the family.

    I had so much fun putting that coalgle together for you. I am glad that you have it up so Arrine can see what a beautiful person you are.When Arrine smiled and walked away .I feel that children have a special connection to the loved ones in Heaven they seem so at peace. So when she smiled, maybe she was telling you that yes, I know because I see her over my bed every night and that is a good thing. Big hugs

    Marlene was my quilting buddy and I so enjoyed her company. Only just now heard of her passing and wish to send my condolences to the family. She was one great gal.

    I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Bergin. She was always so kind to me and my family. My heartfelt condolences to Brian, Janet, Anne, and of course Don. I’m sure your wonderful memories of Marlene will live on forever.

    So sorry to hear of Marlene’s death . What a lovely lady . I remember how she and Vince had those birthday phone calls to each other in September .
