Peacefully with her family by her side at Bridgepoint Health Hospital Toronto on Thursday August 18, 2016. Mary Dunne (nee: Bokan) at the age of 65, beloved mother of Deborah “Debbie” Richard ( Rick Richard ), and James “Jamie” Dunne (Dianne Dunne). Loving Grandmother of: Paul James Dunne, Rodney Dunne, Alicia Richard, Jaida Dunne, Shaina Dunne, and Nicholas Mcginty Dunne. Dear sister of: Theresa McNeil (Harry McNeil), Olga Nitsopoulos (predeceased Jim Nitsopoulos), Predeceased by her brothers Bill Bokan (Irene Bokan), and Steve Bokan (Barica Bokan). Forever in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd. Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Wednesday August 24, 2016 from 10am until 11:45am. A Memorial Mass will follow at 12 noon in St. James Church Colgan. For those who wish donations to your favorite “Animal Charity”, would be greatly appreciated by the family as this always meant so much to Mary.

She had a laugh that made others laugh, she could make soup out of an old shoe and it would taste good. She had a love of animals that I have never seen in anyone else and an ability to connect with them and comfort them. I’m sure they are all with her now. I am glad to see she passed that along to her granddaughters . Our condolences.
