At Mount Sinai Hospital Toronto, on Friday July 22, 2011. Mary Harrington, in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Johnson. Loving mother of Elizabeth and Kamal of Liverpool, England and Marc and Candace of Alliston. Remembered with love by her granddaughter Hadley. Dear sister of Margaret Harrington of Southport, England, and John and his wife Kathy Harrington of Niagara Falls.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held in the chapel of Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham, 905-936-3477 on Saturday August 6, with visiting from 11am until service time at 12pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the 2012 Ride to Conquer Cancer benefitting the Princess Margaret Hospital.

I know stories from Jeanne about how good a person your mother was and how kind. Jeanne can do a very sweet impression of her accent. Your loss has occasioned in me reminiscences of my own mother’s death a few years back. There is scant condolence in words; what you can take comfort in is that you were there for her in her last months of illness and you did all that a loving child can do for a parent to help usher her out of this life. My deepest sympathies.
