
Peacefully at Simcoe Manor, Beeton on March 13, 2013 in her 100th year. Predeceased in 1994 by her loving husband Frank Beatty of Kettleby. Dear mother of: Brian Beatty (Margaret Black) of Schomberg, Sharyn Pratt (Val) of Kingston, Vicki Visnapuu of Chatham, Francine Procunier (Dale) of Tillsonburg and Neil Beatty (Nancy) of Kettleby. Loving grandmother of: Joel, and Jeremy Black Beatty, Jon Visnapuu, Colin Procunier, Jessica Beatty, Meaghan Buchanan, Seth and Lucas Beatty. Great-grandmother of Liam, Carson, Hudson, and Hazel. Also missed by her favorite niece Mary Storey (John).
Muriel lived in King Township for most of her 99 years. In addition to farming with her husband and raising a family of 5 children, Muriel had a successful career as a teacher in several King Township schools. She was an involved member of the community, a strong supporter of Christ Church Kettleby, a founding member of the Kettleby Fair and an active member of the King Township Historical Society. Muriel was committed to supporting those in need, both locally and globally.
She loved her family and friends, her community, her hobbies and travel.

Memorial Service will be held in Christ Church Kettleby, 292 Kettleby Road on Saturday April 13, 2013 at 11am with visitation one hour prior.
