It doesn’t feel real that Pat has passed. In my mind and heart she is still here…full of life, boatloads of laughter and a generous spirit. She was always so kind and loving to me, as you have always been as well Bill. What a tragic loss, to part with your partner and best friend. I’m so sorry you have to feel that pain. We can only take the slightest of comfort knowing that Pat is now comfortable and at peace and Bill, that you are surrounded by people who love you dearly and want you to carry on that torch of joy you (and Pat) have always carried high. Love you. Pat, you will be terribly missed xo.

I send my family’s prayers and condolences to your family, Bill. Though we have never met I am happy to have been a brother-in-law to Pat and that you had her in yours. I’m thankful that you were her love and support for the many years she spent with you. Thank you being with Pat during the happiest and worse times in life. I hope that those memories of your happiness will give you strength during this time and in the future when you need them most. Praying that your solace is with the family that lovingly surrounded you.

    Dear Bill,

It is my deepest sympathy for your loss at this moment in time. We are all truly saddened and my heart goes out to you.

Aunt Pat was always such a positive and resilient person and I hope these memories of her help you through this time. Thinking and praying for you.

It was a great pleasure to get to spend a bit of time with everyone when I was in Alliston for the summer of 2002.

    To my dear Godmother!
Rest in Peace with the Angels. I have nothing but very positive and great memories of any of the time I got to spend with you and Robbie… and my trips and overnights with Robbie and yourself are memorable, full of fun and laughter. And I’ll never forget the feeling, surprise and delight I had when you bought me my first BMX bicycle along with Robbie.

And over the last few years of random conversations I had with you – I certainly became aware of the great resilience, maturity and positivity you had – and your words of advice, listening and caring were so appreciated. There certainly was a lot more to get to know :).

Wishing Bill and all his family peace and comfort during this time.

    With love and gratitude,

    Michael

    Dear Bill
We were so happy for Pat when you two got together – you were a perfect match to each other and for Robbie too. She needed a strong partner when she went through her lung operation and you were that and more and she had joy and laughter in her voice again. Pat never really showed any negativity about anything and I know she loved you very much. Pat was like another sister to me and even though we didn’t see each other often due to distance, we became strong email buddies. I will miss her forever and I hope you know we love you too. Our prayers are with you Bill and we will be keeping in contact with you.
