Sutherland, Robert Ferguson.

At Simcoe Manor, Beeton, on Monday, January 24th, 2011. Robert Sutherland, in his 88th year, beloved husband of Doris (Wright). Loving father of Brian and his wife Margaret, and Wayne and his wife Betty. Sadly missed by his grandchildren; Jennifer, Marla, and Kate Sutherland. Special grandpa to Todd Monks, and Carrie and Sean Price and great-grandpa to Brandon and Nolan Monks, and Carter and Jack Price. 
Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477 on Friday, January 28th, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel, 11:00 am Saturday, January 29th, 2011 followed by spring interment in Trinity Cemetery, Beeton. Donations in Robert’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. https://www.rodabramsfuneralhome.com

    Robert always made you feel that your visit was the best thing that had happen to him that day.I will always remember the twinkle in his eye, and those big powerfull hands as he joyfully so off his woodworking projects.He was agreat craftsman and such a gentle friend to all.Heaven has a real teasure now,Rest peacefully Robert

    I remember Robert as a kind and friendly uncle who went out of his way to make sure I enjoyed visits back to Ontario as a child.
    I have nothing but fond memories of him. My heart goes out to Doris and to Wayne and Brian. We should all be proud of our family ties to Robert.
