Mabee, Daniel “Royce” Bertram.
(RCAF Flying Officer, Squadron 431, Inducted into the Canadian Hall of Valour, Ottawa, 2009, Vice President of Ruth Mabee Real Estate). Peacefully at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, on Wednesday, August 31st, 2011. Royce Mabee, in his 89th year, beloved husband of Ruth (Atchison). Loving father of Daniel (Gladys) and Dale (Doug DeCarle). Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Tamara (Ed Bier) and Jennie DeCarle (Louis DeSousa), step-grandchildren, Derek Lockerbie (Adriana), Justin Lockerbie and great-grandchildren Jaden Douglas Bier and Haleigh Marie Bier. Dear brother of Clifford and Evelyn Mabee and the late Ken Mabee, and Stella Archibald. Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Ailene Mabee.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477 on Saturday, September 10th, 2011 from 11:00 am until time of memorial service, in the chapel at 1:30 pm. Ruth, I just talked to you on the phone..you and Royce were my first real employers after I got married so long ago. Royce had a great smile and I will always remember times in the office with you both. So sorry that he is gone. Linda
