Sandy Rodgers (Kant)

Rodgers: Sandra Marie (Kant).
With her family’s love around her, Sandy passed away, at the age of 60, at Matthew’s House Hospice, Alliston, on Friday July 7th, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Bruce Rodgers and Paul (Pinky) Robinson. Loving mother of Paul, stepmother of Lori and Allan, Paula and Mike, and Gary and Toni. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Maddie, Jake, Makenna, Chelsea, and Colten. Dear sister of Barry and Alice Kant, late Jim (Shirley) Kant, Lynda and Herb Hastings, and Brenda and Ray Lisk. Beloved daughter of the late Fredrick and Ida (Toots) Kant.
Friends will be received at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477 on Wednesday July 12th, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held in Tottenham United Church, 26 Mill Street, East, Tottenham on Thursday July 13th, 2017 at 2:00 pm.     We just learned of Sandy’s passing and are so sorry for your loss. She was such a wonderful, happy person with that infectious smile. We had many good times together and will cherish those memories. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.

    Just heard today of Sandy’s passing. My deepest sympathies to her family friends. Sandy was one of the warmest people I have ever met. Sandy could light up a room with her smile. She will be deeply missed.

    Just heard about Sandy today. ..so sorry . My thoughts are with the family at this very sad time. I have very fond memories of Sandy… we had many laughs together over the years when we worked at Crown together. She was kind, thoughtful, and loved a good party. Her smile and laughter lit up the room. May you rest in peace my friend the battle is over….you gave it your all.

    Barry, Lynda, and Brenda: We were saddened to hear of Sandy’s passing. Sending comforting energy to you and the family as you celebrate and remember Sandy’s life.

    Kathy and I have fond memories of Sandy from Tottenham UC Young Peoples, Choir, and the famous Butterscotch Pie at church Dinners; the Achill Choral Society, and especially the Kant Sisters Trio at our wedding.
    Sandy’s laughter always brought a smile to our faces and seemed to make your day feel better. Hugs to all.
