Frame Susan Mary (nee Pataki)

23.01.66. – 20.04.09.

The sudden death of our dear, much – loved Susie is deeply mourned by so many, especially her beloved husband, Kent, her daughters, Marlo and Emma; by Mary, Bela, and Steven (Conni) Pataki, Ruth, Jim, Dara (Kennedy), Melanie Frame, Suzanne Foote, her many extended – family members and innumerable friends, near and far. Everybody loved Sue. She brought love and joy into so many lives with her vibrant personality, generous heart, and a smile that lit up a room like no other. Our family was very saddened to hear that Sue, such a vibrant, beautiful person, inside and out, had passed. I know Sue because 2 of my children (Annabella and Eric)attended COC. My husband and father-in-law, worked with Sue on the playground end of things. We all had a chance to experience first-hand how genuine and good she was and she will be deeply missed. She touched many people and I know you must be very proud of the kind of woman, wife, mother, daughter she was. I’m so glad I had a chance to know her, if even for a short while. On behalf of David, Tania (and children), Peter and Madeleine Di Paola, please know that our prayers are with you.

I met Sue, Kent, Marlow and Emma through Sonja and Simon. Whenever I would see Sue she always had that beautiful smile on her face. I will always remember how she referred to Kent as “Bo” – as he really was her “Beau”! She smiled and lit up everytime!

Marlow and Emma, remember that your mother loved you very much – a mother’s love never ends.

With deepest sympathy to Kent, Marlow and Emma.

It was my privilege to hire Sue to replace me at Centered on Children in 2000 when I went on maternity leave…and to know that the Centre would be in her incredibly capable hands.

We met Sue at the high school anniversary last September. I am a former WHS student from the first years when Jim was the phys ed teacher (1958). Without Sue’s extraordinary energy and commitment of time, this project would never have become the roaring success that it was. I will always remember the contribution she made for all of us, and want to send my condolences to Jim and the rest of the family.

Susan was a wonderful person who touched many hearts. I first met Susan when she was employed by Centered on Children as a staff. Our paths crossed many times over the years as Child Care Supervisors. I always found her to be a caring professional, fun-loving and sincere person.

Our hearts go out to Sue’s family especially Kent, Marlo & Emma your Mother was a very special person and

we are going to miss her so very much.

Sue was a mentor, teacher, colleague and a very good friend of our daughter Christine who is a teacher at C.O.C.

Christine had the privilege of working

with Sue and I feel Sue was a very significant part in her life and was responsible for creating a strong, kind,

organized young woman she is today.

We have been blessed with knowing Sue as a friend and as Grandparents of Mikayla and Vanessa that are at the Centre we have been part of so many happy times that Sue was responsible for with her amazing staff.

Sue had a stead-fast strong leadership

quality and with her kindness she taught her staff she many great qualities.
