To me and my family , he was and will always be Mr. Tottenham. From the day I moved to this town, I noticed him. Not because he was everywhere but because his vibe was so unique. I always look forward to seeing him everyday, especially when we see him at coops. When I started to ask about him, I realized how much of a legend he was. I promised him one coops day that I would help him with all of his fur babes and I will hold myself to that. I am so sadden to hear of his passing but will make sure his little one gets a wonderful life.

Not how did he die, but how did he live.
Not what did he gain, but what did he give
These are the units to measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth.

I was so sad to hear of Tsegaye’s passing. He was a kind soul, always a friendly smile, always amused and laughing at our conversations when we stopped for a drink. I am sad for all the cats he took the time to care for and his wife who will miss him. Tottenham has lost one of our own. RIP Tsegaye. You are missed.

I met Tsegaye through my wife and she takes care of his wife Judy and we always asked how each other’s wives are. A man very dedicated to his wife that would walk to Beeton to see Judy every day no matter what the weather. He will be sadly missed.

Psalms 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints”. “Absent from the body, present with the Lord.”
We take comfort in knowing that Tsegaye is now in the presence of the Lord he loved so much. Tsegaye will be missed by members of the Burston Family.

    Tsegaye was a wonderful man.
A man of honour. A man of faith. A man of truth. Although I did not have a lot of time to get to know him, he exemplified what it means to be humble.
He walked miles from Tottenham to Beeton to visit his wife in the nursing home.
He offered advice to those willing to listen.
He was appreciative of the opportunity to talk to you about anything and everything.
…and when you asked him how he was doing, he would always answer..
    “I’m ok, are you ok?”

    I’m sure you’re ok, Tsegaye.
May God Bless you and keep you.
    Rest In Peace my friend.
