Walter Sunnerton

Sunnerton: Walter Edward,
Peacefully with his son at his side, at his home in Riverwood Senior Living Alliston, on July 14, 2020. Walt Sunnerton at the age of 93 years, Beloved husband of the late Ruth Sunnerton (nee: Holt). Loving father of Robert “Bob” Sunnerton and his wife Darlene. Dear grandfather of Ted, and Jennifer (Syd Trefiak). Sadly missed by his great grandchildren Ruby, Wren, and Finley. Predeceased by his siblings Helen Lisk, Eileen Stewart, Harold, John, Dorothea Rutherford, and Violetta McCullough. Forever in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Following government Covid limitations, a private Funeral Service will be held at Rod Abrams Funeral Home Tottenham 905-936-3477, with interment in Trinity Cemetery Beeton.     You were so blessed to have had Walt in your lives. Although we didn’t know him well, we got a real sense of this special man from watching the funeral service. A wonderful portrayal of a fun loving dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, friend. May your memories give you peace. Hold those special memories close to your heart.

    I’m sorry to hear of Walt’s passing but so glad that you were able to be with him, Bob.
    Any time I was around your dad there was a smile on my face as well as all the others present. Laughter followed him. May the laughter continue on his new journey. Love and hugs to you all.

    Gail and I want to express our sincere condolences to Walts entire family. We both have many fond memories of visiting with Walt and listening to his many jokes and stories. We also shared a few shots of his Crown Royal. He will be sadly missed. RIP our friend.
