Tony was never just my best friend’s dad. He was someone who truly showed up for me, and I feel so lucky to have known him for 28 years.
From the time I was a teenager, him and Pauline welcomed me into their home and made me feel like I belonged. So many dinners, family time, and moments that became a constant in my life.
Tony was someone I could always count on. He taught me how to drive standard (and had a lot of patience doing it), and he helped me through more than I can put into words. There were times he showed up for me in ways people don’t always see, and he never expected anything back.
He loved my kids and made time for them in the best, simplest ways…fixing cars with them, taking them for tractor rides, cookie breaks, and just being with them. Those are the memories we’ll always hold onto.
Tony was steady, kind, and generous. This doesn’t feel real.
My heart is with Pauline and the whole family. I’m so deeply sorry for your loss.
I’m going to miss him so much. I’m really grateful I had him in my life. ❤️

Cousin Tony, I’ve always been open about my favourite cousin being you.
We laughed and cried together, but no matter what, you were always there for me, my family, and the younger cousins and nephews. We all knew you were a big kid at heart—the most kind and judgment-free person I’ve ever met.
I love you for simply being you, the wonderful person you are.
So many cherished memories will remain, and you’ll be greatly missed and never forgotten.
God has gained another amazing soul.
