    Ursula (and Mrs. Woerner),

I was so sad to hear of your Dad’s passing. I know you thought the world of him and loved him dearly. This is a very, very sad time.

Please find some comfort in your memories of him. Although I only recall meeting him once, my mind’s eye recalls a very robust and confident man. A man who loved his wife, his daughter, his grandson, his garden, his cigars and his sweet desserts. You’ve often shared with me stories of him and I can vividly conjure up an image of him happily riding on his lawn mower with a stoggie protruding from his smiling mouth. Maybe he didn’t discover a new continent or played golf on the moon, but I get a sense through your wonderful stories that he lived a full and happy life.

My wishes for strength and healing go out to you my friend. I sincerely hope that the love you have for your Dad will fill your heart and give you a sense of peace in the coming days and weeks.

Thinking of you and sending my love,
    Karon
