Peacefully at Stevenson Memorial Hospital Alliston on May 23, 2024. Barrie Arthey at the age of 80 years, beloved husband of Rosemary Arthey (nee: Long). Loving father of Susan McInerney (Jeff), and Paul (Julie). Dearly loved grandfather (Pop) of Bailey, Madison, Shannon, and Connor. Predeceased by his parents John and Laura Arthey. Sadly missed by his siblings John (the late Lynda), Chris (Julie), and Rosemary’s siblings, the late Raymond (Judy),Carol Parks (the late Ed) and Rob (Jackie). Fondly remembered by his mother in-law Rose Long (the late Ernie). Forever in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Dearly missed by his furry companion Rusty.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Thursday May 30, 2024 from 10am until the time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 11am.
