We met Bev in the Legion of Mary in 1966, at St Bernard’s parish, and continued our friendship with the Focolare.

Our sincere condolences to Remo and children on your great loss. She rests now in the peace of heaven.

Bev was a unique and loving person who has been in our daily prayer since she first became ill.

This morning we offered the first Mass in our Novena for the repose of her soul and for strength and comfort for her loved ones.

She loved a lot and she was loved a lot. I am sure Jesus was waiting for her to welcome her into His arms. She is now celebrating what she believed all her life. I love you Bev.

I am very close to you in this moment of loss…..My memories of Beverly go way back to the early 70s when my parents brought us to the first Mariapolises in Pennsylvania and we had to stay over in TO to get on the bus!

Your parents gave us a chance to do this, easily and lovingly. She was low-key, serious, but sweet and kind, the perfect mother-figure for all us volunteers who were encouraged by her steadfastness.

Words to say are always hard to find in this time of great loss. May you find consolation in knowing that a big spiritual family is praying for & sharing your grief in the loss of a wonderful and loving person. Beverley will always be remembered as one whose presence brought about an ambiance of calm and peace.
