Bob and I spent a great deal of time together in our youth, whether in the workplace or just spending our free time together, Bob was always a pleasure to be with. He had this unique chuckle that would eventually burst into a hearty bout of laughter! A lot of good times together in his home on Centre Street with a good friend who had a Big Heart!

Bob you were the cool older brother of one of my oldest and dearest friends Sue growing up. With your motorcycle and Afro that barely fit through the door you were truly larger than life. You introduced us to the music of Bruce Springsteen-still my favourite. Coach Bob introduced my son Tanner and many other stingers to the world of hockey. Your love and passion for the game was contagious. You were so proud of the kids – it was written all over your face and more often than not trickled down your cheek. Rest in peace

Sincere condolences to the family at this time, Very sad news to hear of Bob’s passing.
We’ve never met a man that gave his Heart & Soul to each team he coached as Bob did . He had the utmost respect from each of his players & made sure the kids had fun when it was time to have fun but when it was time to play some more serious hockey, they were ready for that as well.
Our Son started hockey with Coach Bob, in Beeton & he was a huge influence & supporter of him becoming a goalie. A position he still plays & loves today. Thanks for all the memorable hockey tournaments & fun times for the kids & parents .
    May you RIP
