I was feeling nostalgic and was wondering what you guys were up to when I ran across this obituary. Bob was one of the funniest and kindest men I had ever met. It was a privilege to live across the street from you. Joan, I am so sorry for your loss. The love you shared for each other was self evident. I miss you and will miss Bob forever.

Joan and family, please accept my deepest sympathies during this sad time. Bob was always a welcome distraction when he would show up at my office, and some of the discussions we had over a cup of coffee while the vehicle was being serviced were ones I enjoyed very much. His twinkling eyes and smile will be missed.

We were shocked to hear that Bob had passed, When we saw him last September he looked great. He was always willing to give me advice and help me when I needed it. You will certainly be missed by your many friends and especially your loving wife Joan. REP Bob. Derek & Lorraine

    Dear Aunt Joan,

Sandra’s messages is 100% “bang on”. I still struggle, as an adult, with understanding how someone so important to me can be with us one day and taken the next. It just always feels surreal.

In my eyes, Uncle Bob was happy for a surprise drop-in and more recently beyond excited to show my daughter and her friend his pet horse.

May his willingness to help others continue to be expressed through my actions.

When it comes time to downsize please just simply reach out!

    Huge Hugs,
    Alison

Our deepest condolences to the the family. We recently met Bob and Joan when we began square dancing in Bond head. Bob had the patience to teach us some dancing steps. Bob and Joan even took the time to visit our 4H square dance meeting and tutored our teenagers in the art of square dancing. Rest in peace brother.

    Joan
So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing.
His laugh was always so infectious, his enthusiasm and push to keep Newmarket Square Dancing Club going are some things I remember.

    Dear Uncle Bob,

I miss you already. It was only a few weeks ago I saw you. You were vibrant and chatting (of course bickering with Aunt Joan). I am struggling to come to a realization you are gone. I always imagined you would be in my life forever. I will miss you deeply.

    Love Sandra

Grandpa Bob was the world’s best Grandfather. I had the pleasure of growing up with grandma Joan and Grandpa Bob since the early age of 9. They both helped shape my life and give me the guidance I needed to be the man I am today.

Grandpa Bob will be truly missed but he will never be forgotten.

We love you grandpa Bob and we will take great care of grandma Joan for you. Till we meet again.
