    .
I remember going over to the house in Brampton I was about 14 and your Dad told me I was going to be a nurse because of the way I had my arms folded, I laughed about it and said “really?” and Bob laughed and answered ” You’ll see I am never wrong!”
Well he was right ! It’s funny the little things you remember…
I just thought your Dad was such a nice man always so friendly. I know my Mom Shirley always thought alot of him too.
I am so sorry for your loss.

    Sincerely,
    Jane Mateya (Ironstone)

I was very sad to hear that Great Uncle Bob passed away. He always had a funny story to share, especially when he and my Grandpa Joe would get together. The two brothers, always dressed to impress, would always have us laughing! He will be missed.
So sorry that we can not attend the funeral, but our thoughts and prayers are with all the DeCourcy’s during this sad time.

I used to deliver Mr. Decourcy’s mail when he lived in the seniors complex in Beeton. I remember him always waiting for me at the door and tipping his hat to wish me a good morning. When I became a postal clerk he would come ito Beeton Post Office and tell me old hockey stories and how proud he was of his young grandson who had also started playing hockey. Mr. DeCourcy was always a gentleman whenever I would meet him o te street, at the the IGA or Cheers. I remember him oming into cheers and tipping his hat whilesayig “kiss me it’s my birthday”. I have such fond memories of him and I know that he will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family and friends.
