Such a unique, brilliant and creative mind. And so bitingly funny. I was privileged to spend time with Brayden at OOCH camp over 2 summers and heart-warmed to be included in his self-selected circle of care. Forever remembered in my heart.

Dear Amanda and family,
I was so sad to hear of Brayden’s passing. He was such a special young man. He always had a smile- even on the long, painful or boring days. He would make me smile when I ran into you both all over the hospital. He always had a great story to tell, always had plans and was always sweet sweet. He will certainly be missed in the purple pod.
Amanda, you the love between you two shone so brightly. It was so clear how much you love him and how much he loved you! Thinking of you

Sending love, peace, and comfort to you all. I’m so very sorry for the loss of your precious boy. Brayden was special. I got to teach him music from kindergarten until grade three, and I will remember how quick he was with a hug. Full of humour, kindness, and fun…with just the right amount of mischief and a twinkle in his eye. He was a joy. My most sincere condolences to you all.

Amanda and Rick; The first time that I met Brayden I immediately knew that he was a special person. Life is not measured by the years in which we live, but the quality of those years. His energy, spirit and zest for life were so infectious and such a blessing to those around him. Brayden was raised with such unbridled loved and passed with the same. We will miss him dearly. Love you both.

I knew the day I met your mom that her and I would be bonded forever. I never imagined it would be because of you. I’ll never forget on my 30th birthday, your mom walked up to my desk at work and showed me an ultrasound pic of you. You were my present, and I’ve gotta say, definitely the best one anyone could ever ask for! Being able to watch you grow up and be a part of your fabulous life is something I’ll never forget. Being your Tata has been the greatest feeling in the world ❤️
When we found out you had cancer, we never ever thought this would be the outcome. I hoped for 3 years that it would just go away, like this was all a nightmare. You were such a strong, brave warrior and gave it everything you had! You never lost your spirit or your smile, even on the hardest of days.
Brayden, B, my Shitface, your infectious laugh will fill my heart for the rest of my life. Your crazy faces, silly antics, snuggles and our shenanigans together will stay with me forever. I will cherish every single moment I got to share with you in your short 11 years. I’m in shock, but at peace, knowing your battle is over and you’re not in pain anymore.
As you are laid to rest, I pray to whoever is up there to keep you safe. Please watch over Mom and Nano. ❤️
Mandie, I love you and I’m here ❤️ Rick, please take good care of my bff ❤️ Nano… I love you bunches ❤️
Rest easy, Brayden. I love you with all my heart Until we meet again …. Love Tata ❤️❤️❤️
