I hope that you can draw strength from each other as you celebrate the memory of your father Cecil. Aunt Ileen, Judy & Larry – haven’t known what to write – my heart is saddened at the news of Uncle Cec. The memories of all our times shared at Grandma and Grandpa Fleming’s and Uncle Cec with his newspaper and his wonderful teasing. I’ll be having an ice cream cone Friday in his memory. Love you all – Gayle

Dear Aunt Ileen, Judy & Larry…what wonderful childhood memories I have of us all being at Grandma & Grandpa Fleming’s. I can see Uncle Cec sitting in his spot on the couch reading the newspaper when we came in from the front porch. Throughout the years I have thought of you often and wondered how and what you were doing (except you Larry, if I knew what you were doing I might be an accomplice!) Hold tight to your memories, we are here for a short time and shouldn’t waste a moment. Love you all ~ Katherine

I did not know Cecil but I do know his son Larry. And Larry loves to golf and is a member at the same golf club as me. The fact that Larry put his membership on hold last year to be with his dad and to do whatever he could for him and his mother, says an awful lot to me about the kind of person that Cecil must have been!
