Your mom and I enjoyed lovely visits and shared a love of gospel – and ’50s’ – music.
    Her smile seldom failed.
I am so sorry that I wasn’t there to share in your immediate grief and pay my repects for such a beautiful person but I didn’t know, until recently, that she had passed on. Thanks, Marj’, for letting me know.
Take care of yourselves and each other.

I never had the privilege of having met your mom, but know that if she was anything like you, Marie, them she must have been one fine, kind, generous, and loving lady. My prayer for you and your family is that God will wrap His arms around each of you and you will find comfort within all who knew and loved your mom.

My best memories of Dorothy always have to do with hospitality – good food, welcoming smile, kind attention. Our good times working together with all the family in founding Beverley Acres Missionary Church will never be forgotten.

To Ven. Marie Loewen and family:
I had the pleasure of meeting your mother and I know heaven just received one of the most special angels. You are a reflection of your mom in the way you treat people with respect and empathy. Not to mention the way you make each person feel loved. My dad, Sylvie and I are so sorry for your loss.

I always enjoyed going to the Water Trough & having leisurely chats with your mom. She was always so kind and friendly, as well as was Jack. I even met up with her at Curves many years ago. May Dorothy and Jack continue their love and friendship now in heaven.

We have been privileged to have Dorothy as a mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother.
Dorothy was blessed with the constant presence of her four daughters the last several weeks and entered into the hands of her Lord with the comforting prayers of her eldest daughter Reverand Marie. Dorothy will be missed by all who loved her.
