I have fond memories of Ed from NYFD 10 hall group 1, having started one year after him on the shift that relieved his very memorable and fun loving group. It was no surprise that a man of his calibre would rise through the ranks into a leadership position.
My sincere condolences to Wendy & family

I was Ed’s District Chief at North York #4 Station. He was a Captain that was well respected by his crew and all in the Fire Service and a pleasure to work with.
Rest in peace my good friend. You will be missed.
