McMahon: Edith Marion

At Stevenson Memorial Hospital Alliston on Thursday May 8, 2008. Edith Fuller in her 92nd year, beloved wife of the late James “Jay” McMahon. Loving mother of Marion and the late Ken Metcalfe, and Doreen Brunt. Remembered with love by her grandchildren: Michael and James Brunt, Karen Milordi, Rick Metcalfe, and her great grandchildren: Mandy, Kayla, Cassandra, Dylan, Josh, Chiara, Alyssa, and Daniela. Dear sister of Margaret Hesp.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home #1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Monday May 12, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Tuesday May 13, 2008 at 11am. Interment Morningside Cemetery Palgrave.

    I was sorry to read about Edith’s passing in the newspaper, it was after the funeral service had passed therefore, I wasn’t able to attend.

    I will miss you truly, someday i will come and be with you.

    At least you are in a better place with your husband and grandpa(ken), when i listen to mariah carey’s song bye bye i think of you and everyday i will pray for you even at school, i will cherish all of the pictures of us together.

    Edith’s service was a great tribute to her life, with many personal touches that were so nice to hear. I learned things I did not know about her. What I do know about her is her unfailing optimism. She never complained and always had a smile. I will miss our telephone conversations and the little visits we used to have from time to time.
