    Dear McClain Family,
My heartfelt sympathy for the sudden loss of your mother. Memories of many childhood adventures of our two families on Wilson Street are vivid and treasured: playing in the leaves, riding in the sled behind Buster, making snowball forts, climbing the “mountains” of dirt around the foundation of your new house being built, your mom helping our mom grate large pots of cabbage and piles of potatoes for a large family gathering – just one example of her many willing and good natured acts of friendship.
May your cherished family memories bring each of you comfort and consolation at this difficult time.
    Sincerely,
    Rhondda
