Peacefully on Tuesday June 25, 2019, Elva Bailey in her 95th year passed away at Simcoe Manor with her immediate family with her. Loving mother of Patricia “Pat” Abernethy. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Steven (Judy), Wendy (Jim), and her great grandchildren Daniel (Olivia), Darren (Catherine) Abernethy, and Jessica and Thomas Edwards, and her great great grandchildren Sam, Dawson, and Maryn. Dearly loved sister of Anna Merkley, Gladys Meffen, Joyce Steffler, the late Madeline Cullen, and the late Ilene Bailey. Forever in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Friday June 28, 2019 from 1pm until the time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 3pm.
