Peacefully with his family by his side at Trillium Health Care Centre, Mississauga, on Tuesday, January 10th, 2006. Elwood McCague, of Etobicoke, formerly of Beeton, beloved husband of Helen Doner-Wilson and the late Hazel Swire. Loving father of Paul and Deborah of Etobicoke. Loving grandfather of Peter and Sarah and fondly remembered by his daughter-in-law Linda. Beloved son of the late William John and Zelda McCague. Dear brother-in-law of Mary McCague. Pre-deceased by his brother Kirwood, and sisters Olive (Mrs. Elmer Brown), and Freda (Mrs. Lloyd Lilly). Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins.and special friends Fred, Dorothy, Christine, Will and Mike.
Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477 on on Thursday January 12th, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in Trinity United Church , 37 Centre Street, Beeton, 11am Friday January 13th, 2006. Springtime interment Trinity Cemetery, Beeton. In memory of Elwood those who wish may make donations to Trinity United Church, or Simcoe Manor, Beeton.
