Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at Matthews House Hospice Alliston on July 30, 2024. Ernie Charlton at the age of 94 years, beloved husband of the late Daphne Charlton (nee: Copas). Loving father of Laura Rabjohn (Gord). Dear grandad of Kayla (Jeremy), Kenneth (Nicole), Allyssa (Jacob), and great grandad of Grayson, Jayden, Scarlett, Hudson, Paige-Elizabeth and Alexander. He will be sadly missed by his sister Kathleen. Predeceased by his siblings Irene, Sid, Stan, Norman, and Margaret. Fondly remembered brother in law of Brian and Tricia, and predeceased by Frankie, Rowland, and Lily. Predeceased by his loyal boxer Murphy. Forever in the hearts of his extended family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Visitation will be held at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd,. Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Sunday August 11, 2024 from 11am until the time of Memorial Service at 12pm in the chapel. Reception to follow in the funeral home’s Cliffside Hall.
