Baxter: Francis John “Frank” (President of Semple-Gooder Roofing Corp.)

After a battle with cancer, Frank Baxter in his 59th year, peacefully passed on Thursday November 12, 2009. Beloved husband and best friend of Lori. Loving father of Scott, Carly, and Mark and Lara. Dear brother of Doug and Thelma, Philip and Julie, Karen and Peter Mandl, Heather and Mike DePrinse. Beloved son of Oswald and Joyce Baxter, and son-in-law of Anne and the late Joseph Sant. Sadly missed by his extended family, friends, and colleagues.

Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477, on Monday November 16, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St.James Church Colgan, 11am Tuesday November 17, 2009, followed by interment in St. James Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in memory of Frank to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 USA www.stjude.org, Headwaters Health Care Centre, 100 Rolling Hills Drive, Orangeville, ON L9W 4X9, or the charity of your choice.

    Time goes by and often we lose track of our old friends and neighbours. Frank’s passing has brought back a flood of happy memories of lots of laughs and raising young children and holidays together and just being good friends and neighbours.
