Peacefully at Simcoe Hospice Barrie on Sunday April 15th, 2012. Frank Tasson at the age of 93, beloved husband of the late Alice Tasson (nee Larkin). Loving father of Stephen, Patricia “Patsey” Collins, and Susan. Cherished Grandfather of: Thomas Collins (Kelly), Stephen (Julie Dyer), Bonnie Hall (Joe), Cheri Pettit, Philip Collins (Jennifer), Sean (Jonathan Thomas), Edward, Amanda Young (Josh), and the late Virgil. Great-Grandfather to: Alice and Norah Collins, Connor Hall, Hunter Young, and James and Lily Tasson. A special thanks to Simcoe Hospice Barrie.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477, on Tuesday April 17, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St.James Church Colgan, 11am Wednesday April 18, 2012, followed by interment in St. James Cemetery Colgan. In lieu of flowers donations to Simcoe Hospice (336 Penetanguishine Road RR#1, Barrie, L4M 7C2), would be appreciated by the family.

My thoughts are with the Tasson family. I remember lots of days at the Tasson’s house, lots of time carrying bricks and blocks as Frank worked on someone’s house. He was a great guy and a good friend.
