At Stevenson Memorial Hospital Alliston, on Monday October 29, 2012. George Holland in his 86th year, beloved husband of the late Reta Holland. Loving father of David Springett, Patsy Ouellette (Ron), William Springett, Robert Holland (Judy), Margaret Boudreault (George), John Holland (Darlene), Darlene Turner (Dave), and the late Donna Boudreault, Evelyn Balanoff and Mary Williams. Sadly missed by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Dear brother of Audrey Sharington, Hilda Johnson, Jack Holland, and the late Mary Uno. Fondly remembered by his brother-in-law Tets Uno.
Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Saturday November 3, 2012 from 12 noon until time of Funeral service in the chapel at 1:30pm. Followed by interment in Mt. Tegart Cemetery, Tottenham.

We are sorry to hear of George’s passing, Met him in Tottenham when I was at the IGA and when I asked him if he lived on Naroch Blvd in Bay Ridges. From then on we met weekly at the store and later he was nice enough to come and support us when we purchased Beeton Foodland. He always had a smile and kept me up to date on the kids. The staff of Beeton Foodland will miss him too.
