Peacefully at Simcoe Manor Beeton, on Saturday October 3rd, 2015. Gertruda (Van Dijk) in her 89th year; Beloved wife of the late John J Rutten. Loving mother of Louwie (Denise), Wilma (Peter) Carney, Jenny (Jim) Carney, Joseph (Sherri), John Jr. , Frank (Margot), Trudie (Martin) Stewart, Leo (Barbara), and David (Sue).
Remembered lovingly as Oma to: Chris, Jonathan (Terri), Julie, Sarah (Glen), Jason (Karen), Mark (Jessica), Adam (Caitie), Miranda, Krista, Darren, Jessica, Ruby, Harry, Jaret, Garrett, Shelby, Michael, Michelle, Mark, Zachery, Katrina, Alexis and Brianna. Great-Oma to: Cody, Leah, Emma, Ava, Claire, Ben, Wes, Addison, Olivia, and Grace.
Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477 on Wednesday October 7th, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. James Church Colgan, on Thursday October 8th 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in St. James Cemetery, Colgan.
