Dillane, Richard Grant.
(Assistant Vice President, Bell Canada) Peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa, on Monday, May 11th, 2009. Grant Dillane, in his 100th year, beloved husband of Isobel (Clark). Loving father of Kin and his wife Marilyn, John and his wife Merja, and the late Tom. Sadly missed by his daughter-in-law Marilyn. Remembered with love by his grandchildren, Charles, Julia, Grant, James, Rob, Wendy, Krista, Karla, and his great-grandchildren Emily, Kyra, Ruby, Tommy, and Amaya.
Respecting Grant’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in St. John’s Anglican Church, 5268 6th Line, New Tecumseth, (just south of Bond Head, 1 mile west of Highway 27), on Friday, May 15th, 2009 at 1:00 pm. Donations in Grant’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. I know you can here me and I wanted you to know I was thinking about this rembrance day and I thank you so much for everything you did. Not only for your family but for your country. You truly are my hero. You may have left us but you will always be a part of us.
