Lloyd: Grant- Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at the Collingwood General Hospital Saturday December 3, 2022 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Marion Lloyd (nee: Cober) for 62 years. Deeply missed by his children Kevin (Ashley), Jeff and Lisa. Adored Grandpa of Jessie, Tegin, Griffin, Austin, Victoria, Ryan and great grandson Hayzen. Dear brother of Sheila (Bill) Kelly and the late Blake (Gwen) Lloyd and Betty (Barney) Molnar, and brother-in-law of Don Cober, Tom (Muriel) Cober, Jack (Pauline) Cober and Ike (Ruth) Cober.

Grant took pride in his sheet metal work for decades and enjoyed his years of service as a volunteer firefighter with the Schomberg Firefighters Association. In retirement at his home in Wasaga Beach he loved his daily walks with his dogs Princeton and later Tuxedo to visit with his many friends and neighbours or any new people he found on his adventures.     I’m so sorry to hear of Grants passing. I haven’t seen him for 48 years but I still remember his kind smile and composure as if it was yesterday.     My deepest sympathy to the Lloyd Families, special memories of good times as neighbors, times when all the kids got together, there were also some special and fun moments at the Fire Hall. These memories will help with the healing of losing a loved one. Grant will be missed by many.

    I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of Grant from my youth, spending time at your place on some snow days and other times. His great sense of humour, warm chuckles of laughter, friendly smile, and open heart were all very endearing qualities that I appreciated and adored.
