Gregory Charles Esson passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, at Matthews House Hospice in Alliston, surrounded by the comfort and care of those who supported him in his final days.
Greg was the beloved husband of Brenda and a devoted father to Chris (Jessica), Matt (Jill), and Shane (Myriam). He was a proud and loving Papa to Keara, Brielle, Clayton, Connor, Avery, and Brynn, who brought immense joy to his life.
He was the cherished son of the late Charles and Mary Esson and a dear brother to Lisa (Tom) and Kim. Greg will be deeply missed by his niece Jenna; his nephews Lucas, Kody, and Mackenzie; his extended family; and the many friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and steady presence.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at Matthews House Hospice for their exceptional care and support.
Arrangements entrusted to Rod Abrams Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. Donations in memory of Greg to Matthews House Hospice would be appreciated. Condolences and memories may be left for the family at www.RodAbramsFuneralHome.com.
Forever in our hearts.
