Gus Barratt

Barratt: Augustus Ernest “Gus” 1920-2010

(Veteran WWII, 8th Army England 1940-1947)
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Sunday August 15, 2010 at Riverwood Retirement Home Alliston. Gus Barratt of Tottenham Court Tottenham, beloved husband of the late Audrey (Webb) Barratt. Devoted father to Elizabeth Graham (Don) of Stockdale, Mark (Linda) of Okotoks, Alberta, Raye (Donalda) of Barrie, Carolyn Green (Fred) of Wasaga Beach, Marilyn McKenna (Jack) of Wasaga Beach, Nancy Elgie (Mike) of Yellowknife, Barbara Paisley (Jack) of Grimshaw, Alberta, and predeceased by his son Bruce (1990). Loving brother of Roy (late Joan).

Remembered with love by 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and his many friends and neighbours.

The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477, on Friday August 20, 2010 from 10am until time of Memorial service in the chapel at 11am.

Family interment to follow in Mt. Tegart Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Gus may be made to the charity of your choice.
